Pool and snooker hall

Thank you for sending the panel survey on supporting children and young people.

I do not have enough information about children's facilities in the borough but would like to make a suggestion.  I believe the pool and snooker club under Westway should not have been closed. I took up snooker and played in the Hammeersmith and District League.

The club always had young people there honing their skills and learning how to win and lose. Sadly the club was closed and finance was redirected to the climbing wall. 

We fought to keep the club open because it provided a way of keeping young people off the streets and taught them socializing skills. Sadly we lost the fight. 

I would like to suggest that funds be directed towards opening a new pool and snooker club.

A pool and snooker hall will teach youg people new skills. They will learn now to win and lose and they will learn how to socialize and mix with other your people and adults.
